Gain confidence using pelvic ultrasound to assist with brachytherapy procedures through extensive hands on scanning with live patient models. Our educators combine short focused teaching sessions with practical workshops so you'll spend the majority of the course scanning, developing image optimisation skills and learning techniques that can be immediately applied in clinical practice.

Learning Objectives
By the end of the course you will be able to:
- Understand common ultrasound artefacts and recognise when they assist or hinder image interpretation.
- Confidently perform transabdominal pelvic ultrasound examinations.
- Use ultrasound to guide brachytherapy applicators into the correct position.
- Gain an introduction to transvaginal ultrasound scanning techniques.
